Our NY home has a new family now to experience the best house we ever lived in. We designed it, had it built, loved every inch of it only to have to give it up and move due to economic conditions. We've not lived in it for over 4 years. When we visit family in NY it hurts to see it. If we could have trucked it down to SC we surely would have!

Goodbye sweet house. I know the new family loves you and that's what I asked for.

Conesus Lake 3rd of July Celebration

Whenever possible, we make the trek to western NY for the 4th of July.  Most important, though, is the celebration on the 3rd.

People galore, unbelievable fireworks, and best of all, the Lake of Fire.  Perhaps next time I'll press the correct button on my camera and be able to share the sight of the lake's entire shoreline aglow with the blaze of flares.  It's sooooo beautiful!

Ally's Tea Party
